The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this website. By ordering from classyglass.co.uk you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to use this website you agree to the use of cookies for analytics, personalised content, and advertisements. To find out more about how we use cookies and handle your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy, which has been updated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
OUR CONTRACT
You will have the opportunity to check and correct any errors in your order up until you click the Continue to Payment button.
After completing your purchase, we will send you an invoice/reference number and details of the products you have ordered by email. Please note that orders will only be processed upon receipt of payment. We will let you know if your payment cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.
Discounts, offers, and products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable, we will offer you an alternative where possible.
Important: We strive to ensure that all information on this site is accurate; however, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will inform you and reserve the right to cancel your order prior to despatch.
ENGRAVING INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that we copy your typed engraving instructions exactly as supplied, without making any amendments. We cannot accept responsibility for spelling, punctuation, or grammar errors provided by the customer. We may adjust the layout to best suit the size and shape of the item being engraved. If you would like to review your layout prior to production, please request a proof.
You can request a proof by:
- Selecting the "Yes" tick box in the “Design Proof Required?” step during the order process (available on most products), or
- Adding a note in the “Notes/Special Requirements” box during the order process.
Please note: Once your order has progressed to production, no amendments can be made.
REPEAT ORDERS
If you are placing a repeat order, please provide your previous invoice or reference number. In the “Notes/Special Requirements” box during the order process. Although we endeavour to match original engraving sizes and positioning, this cannot be guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for variations in manufacturer’s products.
ENGRAVING CHARGES
Prices shown include engraving onto a single area or side of engraving. If you require engraving in multiple or difficult areas, additional charges may apply. We will inform you if this is the case.
ARTWORK
We aim to email artwork proofs within 2 working days of receiving a paid order, or within 1 working day for Fast Track orders. Please ensure that you review and approve artwork promptly to meet your requested despatch date. It is essential that your email address is correct and that you monitor incoming emails, including your junk/spam folders. We cannot accept responsibility for delayed approvals or missed correspondence.
Artwork proofs will be provided exactly as they will appear on your finished product. Please do not approve artwork unless it fully meets your requirements.
We reserve the right to use images of completed products for marketing purposes on our website or social media. If you do not wish for your item to be featured, please contact our customer service team on 01275 871720 or email info@brunelengraving.co.uk
LOGOS GRAPHICS & IMAGES
We do not charge setup or origination fees for artwork supplied in pure black and white* format. We will engrave directly from your artwork and, if we believe the quality is insufficient for engraving, we will contact you before proceeding. We cannot accept responsibility for poor reproduction if artwork quality is below standard.
Accepted artwork formats: .jpg, .ai, .pdf, .eps, .doc, .docx
(*Pure black and white – no greys or half tones.)
Engraving charges still apply.
DELIVERY & FAST TRACK SCHEDULE
We aim to despatch all orders within 5–7 working days, or within 2–4 working days for Fast Track orders, from the date of order or artwork approval. This is subject to stock availability and order size.
If you specify a delivery date, we will despatch your goods prior to that date to ensure timely delivery. (Carrier terms and conditions apply.) If your requested date is not achievable, we will inform you as soon as possible. We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by carriers once goods are despatched.
If time is critical, you may collect your order directly from our premises or arrange collection via your own courier. Please notify us in advance of your preferred collection date.
TELEPHONE / URGENT ORDERS
We cannot accept responsibility for errors in verbally placed orders or for issues arising when proofs cannot be supplied due to time constraints. We strongly recommend requesting a proof to confirm your order details.
DISCOUNTS
Where applicable, quantity discounts are automatically applied at checkout.
PRICES & DELIVERY COSTS
All prices are in GBP (£). VAT and delivery charges are displayed at checkout or on your invoice.
Your total order cost includes the product price, delivery cost, and VAT.
A VAT invoice will be included with your goods.
SHIPPING
Tracked / Carrier Delivery:
All goods are insured up to £100 by default. Additional insurance options are available at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for delays or losses beyond our control. Carrier terms and conditions apply.
Next Day AM and Saturday deliveries may incur additional costs. To upgrade your delivery, please contact us at info@brunelengraving.co.uk or call 01275 871 720.
Upon despatch, you will receive email and/or text notifications with tracking information.
EXPORTING
Deliveries outside the UK are charged according to destination.
Approximate costs can be provided upon request.
Orders shipped outside the UK will not be charged VAT but may be subject to import duties or taxes at the destination. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your goods arrive damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@brunelengraving.co.uk and include photographic evidence. Retain all packaging until the issue has been resolved. We do not accept responsibility for consequential loss.
RECEIPT OF GOODS
If you are unable to check goods on delivery, please sign as “unchecked.” Any discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with all packaging retained. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
COLLECTION
Orders can be collected from our premises during standard opening hours. Please confirm your collection time in advance.
RETURNS POLICY
Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt.
We will refund or replace any non-personalised items in their original condition.
Engraved or personalised items cannot be refunded.
Postage and packaging charges are non-refundable.
Non-engraved items may be subject to a restocking fee.
If returning due to a quality issue, we will refund shipping costs up to the value of our standard carrier rate.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be cancelled prior to engraving. Once production or artwork preparation has started, a fee (£30 inc. VAT) will apply.
TAX CHARGES
All orders are subject to VAT at the current UK rate.
LOW PRICE GUARANTEE
If you find an identical engraved glass item at a lower price within 7 days of placing your order, we’ll refund the difference.
A written quotation from a recognised retail supplier is required.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
This website is secure and operated by Shopify, payments are processed by Shopify, who are PCI DSS compliant and uses advanced fraud screening to ensure your details remain secure.
